Similar to Luna coin, due to mismanagement, the country is gradually going down hill. Its currency declining, while the price of goods and services appreciate, like a dog raising its tail, when it hears the voice of its owner.
Democracy is practiced, transparency promised, free and fair election was promised but freedom is not free and the election results, was obviously tempered with.
My country is really a nice place, amazing, beautiful and blessed with a variety of natural resources, not excluding good weather, with no much harmful wild animals.
A country that stands to boast, as the giant of Africa. Words are not enough I describe how great my country is, but then, the people that are ruling us, are elderly people who are supposed to be in a retirement home, relaxing and waiting for death.
In my beautiful and blessed country, Nigeria, everything is wrong with the Democracy.
In a country ruled by old men, the citizens can't do anything, as even their protest always fall in deaf ears.
Human rights aren't allowed here. Talk ill of the government and you get yourself in trouble.
Sometimes, I wonder, how did I even become a citizen of this country? If I had known that I would be born to this country, I would have deliberately lost the race of life (during fertilization). But then, it is what it is.
The citizens are frustrated with everything the government does. Most especially, the fact that the price of goods and services are on the high side.
Most times, in this country, it's considered a risky move to exercise your right.
In the recent protest that took place, report shows that somebody was shot.
During elections, they promise many things. Transparency, they promise to carry every body along, a free government, they promise to make things better, only for us to see that the election was won through illicit means.
They preach against electoral malpractice,
but they hypothetically indulge in what they preach against. Imagine a country where electoral results, were announced when people are asleep.
The last election that was held in the country, is a great proof that the country is filled with corrupt officials.
Godfather-ism is the order of the day. The position of the president, is a position that people will in a turn-by-turn manner.
No cap, politics is a dirty game, but should not a corrupt game.
They place their children outside the country, probably because they know the amount of damage that they will cause to the country.
Looking into it, it seems like there is no solution to this problem. However, there is. The only solution is to purge the country of all the corrupt officials, old and young.
These old men are literally the course of our trouble, as their selfishness, greediness, and desperation for power, cause them to make the country go down the drain.
True, the removal of subsidy, is important to the country, but the approach and strategy used, is not close to the best.
We need better and capable leaders that can think and strategize properly. Leaders that are willing to listen to their subjects, not be ones that will do anything they want, when ever they want it.

It's beginning to feel like we are in a dictatorship and Nigeria is now exhibiting some traits as north Korea, because I don't know why it's a crime to protest against the government. Some people are still in prison right now just because they took part in the last protest, the whole thing is just crazy
Its really crazy.

It's not adviceable to even speak out in the country again because it's just like you are trading your life and that of other members of the family and of course it's so said because I believe one of the rights of citizens is freedom of speech of which should be freely exercised and not the other way round.
