Life is full of ups and downs. It is Soo unpredictable. What will happen the next minute can not be predicted. There are times when we enjoy the goodies of life. There are also times in life when things get very hard and to survive, we need to borrow finance or any other thing.
Borrowing is not actually bad. Borrowing is bad when you don't do something tangible with the money.
There is one time in my life when life got really hard. I was still a student then. I was surviving on my last two cups of cassava parfait and some very limited food stuff I had which will last for a day or two. I looked up and down, no body to call for help. I can not cal home because I already know the response I will get. What's funny was that I had enough data. Haha. Hungry man with data.
I lost all hope and decided to go waste myself in YouTube because I was becoming depressed. I entered YouTube, watch some videos and their annoying ass popped up. It was an add for a loan app and it caught my attention. I relaxed and watched the add from start to end. After watching the add, I exited YouTube. Went to Play store and downloaded the application. Unfortunately, I was not given the loan. Immediately tried other loan apps until I met Fair Money. After downloading it, I inputed my details and they gave me a loan. I had no way of paying back so I went for a smaller loan. It was approved. In less than 10 minutes, the money reflected in my account and I was really happy.
I went straight to the market, got some foodstuff and remained money for data. Haha. This same data.
Two weeks before the loan duration expired, I got a cal from fair money, reminding me of the due date. I was calm because I know that I had enough money to pay (my broke days was over. Haha). Three days to the due date, my school collected the little money I had which made me some what broke again. As if that as not enough, I got a call from fair money. From that time, I received calls every one hour to repay my loan. It was very embracing, so I immediately went to the application, knowing too well that I do not have the money to pay back. I navigated and saw a place where I could extend the loan. I checked the price for extending the loan and it was a fair price. Not bat I had a choice. I clicked on extension and my loan was extended for 21 days which made me really happy.
After the extension, the calls seized and I became calm again to solve the school problems I was facing.
The 21 days came like flash running 10 meters. I had some money with me which I used to clear up the bill. I did not delete the app because I thought it will be useful to me. However, I have not gone to the app again for a loan. Haha.
After this loan, one lesson I learnt is that there is power in the internet, you just need to find that power.
Another lesson I learnt is that I should not take a loan for the sake of spending it. No. Instead, I should take a loan to buy an asset, then pay the loan gradually from the income gotten from the asset.

I don't know either loans applications exist in Pakistan or not but I shall not take loan from online application because it is full of risk. You didn't pay your loan with due fine instead you deleted the application what a talent you have man lol haha.

This is one of the few good experiences from getting loan from the loan apps, usually all the loan apps are scam and they only give you loan to tease you when you are not able to pay them back or not able to pay the interest they implement on the loan.
i have not had any bad moment with a loan app. just that my loans were not approved. but i have heard many people complain about loan apps.

Lucky you got a loan to help you take care of your immediate needs and you paid back before the extension expired. These online Loan operators do not give one a breathing space when the refund time is nearing. They will call until you payback, and if you don't, they'll start with your guarantor. I haven't done anything with them and I hope not to.

Taking loan isn't bad but it's foolish to take a loan for the purpose of lavishing it without the plan to pay back. It makes one embarrassed when you don't pay up on time. You were so lucky in your instance.

Hmm, thank God you could pay up the loan, I've received so many annoying calls from different loan apps reminding me of friends who borrowed money from their app that I was part of their contact so I should help them remind him/her, for me I've never tried using any money app to make loans and I don't think I would ever do such haha.

I would not advice you or anyone to take loans for squandering. It's not the best. Taking loans to get assets is actually recommended
O boy! Loans are not bad, but I will not recommend it for anyone. And then these online loan apps know how to shame someone. They can even send terrible messages to the person's contacts to soil his reputation.

After downloading the app, they will ask you to grant permission to camera, messages and contacts. If you don't grant these permissions, you can't do anything with the app until you grant the permission. Many people don't know that this is how they get access to their contacts. They will also ask you to link the app to your bank account using your ATM card details, this will help them debit your account if you miss the deadline. Plus, you have to link your bvn.
Now that I think of it, this is actually true.

Loans can be useful in a pinch if you have no other options but it's good to see that you have a healthy respect for the dangers of borrowing too. I can quite imagine though that when food is in short supply, a loan looks extremely enticing. Well done for being astute even when the chips were down!
