Introducing And Signing Up A Newbie // @oasiskp2
Intro
Greetings to you all fellow hivians on the platform. Its a pleasure shouting out to you. Hope my greeting meet you well.
Today's activities started well right from the early hour of the day. I went out to catch up with some task of sending some mail to my client. That took me to a nearby business center at #17 Ikpa Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, where secretarial activities is carried out.
In the Business Centre
As usual, wherever I go, I always like to spread the gospel of hive to anyone I meet. Some do turn put well while others gives excuses. So in today's case, I met two young guys in the office. I introduce myself and declare my mission there. After agreeing on a certain amount to pay for the job, the second guy by name Samuel then commence work on my mail.
While he was working the other guy was busy going through his facebook page. I then told him 'do you know that you can use the same amount of time you use on your facebook page on another platform to create content and get paid?' He look at me with surprise in his eyes and then ask "which platform?" I answered him "Hive". He said " hive"? I answered him Yes. He said how? I told him if you are ready I will sign you up and show you to go about it. He said I am ready.
Signing Him Up
Seeing the readiness in him, I quickly send him the link, collect his phone scale through the process, even though his network was poor, I share him my hotspot and finally have him sign up with his user name @laffnation12.
Introduceyourself Post
Upon completing the sign up and getting his key for him, I told him that he will first have to introduce himself on the platform. I assisted him in subscribing to the communities and the showed him how to complete the introduceyourself post, took a selfi of him and upload it. I showed him a bit of the markdown formatting since he will not capture all at once, promising to check back on him to educate him more.
Conclusion
Whatever that have a beginning will also have the end. At this point my mails have been sent, I paid him and bid them farewell. So far for achieving those task, my day can be said to be satisfactorily complete.
