Learning differs depending on your will.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog and another wonderful edition of the hive learner's featured post. One thing I have discovered about learning is that the speed and how fast we learn a thing differs from one thing to the other, there are people who while we were in school could understand English, grab what the English teacher is trying to say even before she says it but then in a mathematics class, this same group of people sit down completely lost and not a part of the class. Your learning speed for things can vary depending on a lot of things but all these things depends on your mindset and your reason for learning. There are things you are forced to learn and things you have the desire to learn on your own without being forced to, when you look back, you see those things you have to desire to learn you were able to learn faster but those things you were forced to learn was quite difficult to grasp.

Also how fast learning goes depends on the mindset you had even before the learning started, in school some students already told themselves mathematics is hard and that they cannot learn even before the mathematics teacher comes to class and then they allow the fear of that to could their minds and there is no way the mathematics teachers explains it to them that they are able to understand what he is talking about because they have already told themselves thugs and now working in the direction of what they told themselves, fear and your mindset determines how fast you learn and how slow the learning goes for you.

Another thing that makes learning quite fast is your desire to learn that thing, if you have it in mind and have the determination to want to learn, there will be obstacles but that determination and desire to learn that thing will cause you to find a way around and you will be enjoying the obstacles rather than getting frustrated by it, that is what having the desire to learn a thing does. Growing up one thing I found very difficult to learn was how to ride a motorbike, my dad tried and tried rather than learning to ride I almost got us killed countless times.

As at then I was just a teenager, as much as I see my age mates riding a bike then I had that mindset I was too young for it and fear of the road and accident was really clouding my mind, the moment my dad lets me take control my entire body starts to shake and we start to go off the road and he will immediately take back control. At some point he almost gave up and was really angry at me, I managed to start picking up what he was trying to teach me after months of continuous trial.

Funny enough it was not that difficult for me to learn how to drive, for this one I was begging to be taught how to drive, I had that desire to learn on my own and was begging and when the opportunity presented itself I grabbed everything in seconds and even the guy teaching me to drive was asking if it was my first time? That is exactly what the desire to want to learn something does for you, once that desire is there, it helps you grab faster, assimilate faster and get it done faster.

Hi friend, you're absolutely right. I'm a teacher, and everyone has their own way of learning and goes at their own pace.

You are absolutely right, people learn at their own pace and also learning works with their desires and mindset. Nice post.
Thanks for sharing 😊

I thought I was the only one. I have issues riding anything with two tires, like bikes. Even up till now, I still can't confidently say I know how to ride a bicycle. I learnt it for awhile and then I gave up. But you see learning how to drive, I wasn't thought. I learnt how to drive by playing car race games, including Dr drive. I just know I Know how to, one day I just picked my dad's car and I drove it. Though it was automatic, it took me awhile to master manual.
