Parents have to accept their kids decision sometimes too, they should allow kids go their way and not always them choosing. You did well by letting her choose her path.

The decision to support them already demonstrates the love and trust we have towards our children, we should not force them to follow a path with which they do not agree, we would be limiting their freedom and way of seeing life.
