Translators..
It's rare to find technologically inclined people that haven't in one way or the other used language translator to either pass a message or communicate with people from different parts of the world.
I think that was basically the idea behind creation of these tool, to alleviate communication problems between different entities to some very good extend.
However, I'll like to highlight that allot of cultures and traditions stand out because if the uniqueness of their tongue amongst other tongues, some are able to retain certain values among other different tribes and cultures because of how concise they were able to keep their plans and secrets via theirs unique language. Of what essence is the translator at this point?
While there are secrets to keep among certain ethic groups and traditions in the whole wide world, there are informations that needs to passed across to people in respective of their cultures, traditions and mother tongue. We have several languages that are unique to certain group of persons, tribes, community and country at large. Some countries like Nigeria adopted their colonial masters system of language and still using it, that doesn't mean that what needs to be done can't be accomplished or what needs not to be done can't be avoided. We've seen lots of times how languages stands as barrier to the passing of vital information to certain people from a particular region at a particular time. If not for translators and people that have studied and understand different languages at a time, there would have been a problem...
The most important thing that keeps the entire world thriving isn't languages and traditions, it is the ability to agree with each other after every disagreements. In other words, Peace and unity is the major core value of a thriving country and even continent at large. There's communication around the world on how to tackle pandemic and wars, how to support one another in terms of medical services or businesses. If there isn't any means to communicate with each other then there won't be flow of information between one another hence, the inability to support each other.
I don't know how easy it is for one person to be able to speak and understand more than 10 languages at a time, but I believe only a few can do that even if at all we have any. It's difficult for information to leak out specially the one that a certain group of people don't want themselves to be heard outside in the public. Most times, insiders are responsible for leaking vital information to external parties. If there's a secret that must be kept by a group of people of certain language, they either move to an isolated arena and do their discussion off the ears of any body they're suspecting understands their language.

Having people that understands different languages has been a blessing to the people, government officials and people of hierarchy because they serve as medium to communicate to other people that do not understand any other language than theirs. These has actually done more good and almost no record of bad in the society, state and country at large.
If people have room to learn other tribes I think it's a major societal development and shouldn't be discouraged. If there's going to be innovations of more tools that will help in communication between two different people of different tongues then that is also a huge development and shouldn't be discouraged in a civilised world like ours..
