What are the benefits of setting goals?
Often times we engage ourselves in one thing or the other for different reasons and it's very important we set goals and objectives that will benefit us.
As a newbie, I never thought of setting goals for my hive blog but my narrative was changed at the cause of the week and I realized I needed to set up goals and here are the benefits afterwards:
One of the benefits is it will help one to have a focus: Yes at the end of a period, I would want to achieve these set goals and that is possible by being focused.
Another is having sense of direction this will help you know your spec and the kinds of articles you are good at.
Consistency another benefit of goal setting makes one to be consistent both in engagement with fellow hivers and making quality articles because you have a goal to achieve.
My goals for the next 7 weeks.
- Hive Power goal
At the moment, my HP is 31.068 and by the end of the programme, I am targeting at least 100HP which will give me power to also encourage others with my votes and I intend to power up my earnings more often.
- Followers goal
I currently have 12 followers which I am working on to increase by also following more users by engaging and making comments on their posts also.
- My engagement goal
I have a total of 196 comments though I am not too happy with that because I understand the power of interaction which is one of the very strong pillar in this Blockchain.
However, by the end of 7 weeks, I wish to be known all over due to my quality and interactive comments.
- Consistency goal at least a quality post with zero plagiarism, inspiring and educative article for a day.
- Reputation goal My reputation at the moment is 54 and by the end of the programme I wish to reach at least 60.

My Strategies
My biggest strategy so far is at least a post a day.
Be active and interactive on all the social media platforms for the hivers.
Quality engagement and comment on fellow content creators.
Any hindrance?
In as much as I hate to admit it, my schedules may be a little bit of hindrance here couple with cores and of course I will need rest at the end of the day.
Life also has its own part to play and that is inevitable. Though we hope for better days, but we will accept what life presents.
Almost everything about this goal setting is centered on engagement and consistency as the watchword and it's a win win win for me.

You were asked to set your goals according to your Hp, your followers, your comments and any other but you did not do anything like that.
