Payment Is Necessary

Hello, friends!

I'm super excited to be here this afternoon and to share my thoughts about this contest with you. First, what does the word internship " mean?

Interns are the people gaining first-hand experience on learning a particular skill, it comes different skills the individual must choose one and learn, and get paid for that week, a month, or more than that.

Last week, there was a link to internships sent across for people to register to learn a skill and get paid to do. I was one of the people who registered but unfortunately, the entry or the portal was closed, so I had to wait for another entry, and then added the amount of stipend that the interns will get every 6 months.

I strongly suggest that interns should get paid by the companies they are interning for, to learn and experience the skills they want to. With payment, it will encourage the interns to be serious about what they are doing and more effort will be applied. And when rules and regulations are stipulated that will guide, they will be organized. Rules, like missing classes, no late coming, and no misconduct while learning the skill. I think this will help them. Without them being paid, there would be no interest, so with payment, it draws their attention.

The youths, most especially this internship is mainly for the youths, and you will likely see 80 percent of the youths gathering in a place to learn new skills or improve on what they have learned already for mastery and proficiency.

Moreover, the company sponsoring this internship will be promoted, it's like you marketing your business through advertisement and the company will be made visible for easy identification. And those training centers will be promoted too, the interns can refer others to learn a skill there. This is what we call a marketing strategy. You need money and visibility, you need to spend money to attract money through your customers. It's networking and connection.

Therefore, the company pays the interns to learn the skill, and I believe they know what they are doing, whether it is a strategic positioning or visibility but both are very important in business growth.

Also, as a company impacting lives for relevance. Is the same as NYSC posting youths to different states to serve and get paid at the end of every month, in the process serving a lot thing will be discovered, and transformation will take place, clarity purpose, some will discover their purpose while serving, some will meet their life partners and a lot of things will happen in the long run.

In all, the company is not doing badly in sponsoring this great mission. God bless them.

Pay is important during internship because the intern most likely doesn't have a source of livelihood, so even if it's something that can cover transportation and other basic needs, they should pay.
