Greetings, everyone
Despite my tight schedule, I have to create time to participate in this week's contest.
A white person has always been said to be a way of escape from children to adults. Of course, it happens every day, and in one way or another, we have told a white lie before, just to avoid hurting another. Though it might be harmful if care is not taken.

A wife has told her husband a lie just for peace to reign in the house and the same thing with the husband, for peace to reign too. In the aspect of marriage, a white lie can break a marriage. A marriage that is built on infidelity especially the wife. If the wife is misbehaving by cheating on the husband, and the husband finds out that she is into it and questions her for going into it, and she lies. This can scatter or harm the marriage.
In the area of children, where you see them constructing or drawing on a paper, and they call your attention just to say something, what you need to say is, 'it's beautiful', even though it doesn't look beautiful or like the exact thing, to avoid problem just say, 'oh, your drawing is fine, but inside, it's not beautiful'.
According to the contest question;
Have I told a white lie before?
Yes, I have countless times, just to avoid hurting someone or to gain access to something.
I had told my mum that I'm going to my female friend's house, and on my way, I stopped at an eatery, where I met a male friend of mine, who asked me out for a discussion. At first, he said I should come to his house, but I declined and said no. So I took a bike down the street, which was around the December period, where everywhere was busy with goodies of the festive season. I met with him, he ordered drinks and chicken, and we ate and discussed. His discussion came from the negative perspective, I aborted it and told him I am. I am a child of God. And after some minutes we departed for different houses.
Here, I lied to my mum that I was going to see a female friend when I didn't. I felt somewhat bad, but my meeting with the guy was important.
Scripturally, there is no difference between a white lie and a black lie. Lying is a sin and it's unrighteousness before God. In the sight of God, a lie is a lie and it is a sin.
Therefore, we should be straightforward and be truthful to one another. Learn to say the truth and it will set you free.
