Social Media came to the forefront about ten to fifteen years ago and since then it has grown in popularity and there will be no stopping it. Over the years, more platforms have emerged and changes have been made to existing ones. Tell us two reasons you like social media. And also two reasons you feel it is bad.

Social Media has also caused alot of unhealthy competitions.
People compete with each other and even go extra mile just to get something because their friend posted it.
People indulge in evil just so they can show off on Social media.
Very correct, the use of social media has also increased in untimely death of the teenagers who are being wrongly influenced by what they see on social media thinking most of them are real but not, social media now serves as traps to get women down for money rituals so women should be very careful for most of the things they see on social media are not real.

Really, I remember the days of 2go...i think i left at professional 😂.. Then most of its users were the younger genz..but 2go didnt uograde...so came the popularity of facebook, instagram etc.

Hmmm your write as pictures the negative impact of social media so plain as it's common to our society and family this days, it's such a Shame we've let it take the place of physical Communication and family bonding.
But then it as it good side and I hope the negative impact will be curb to a minimal level.

Social media has improved communication on a global level. You do not have to be in front of a person to be able to have a meaningful conversation with him. And this is thanks to our social media platforms.
And on the flip side, some people have become so accustomed to social media that they have no idea how to act in reality. And this is bad.
