Do you want to cook something special. Then you are in the right place. Everytimes we cannot go out and eat. Nowadays its better to eat Home made food in which we can give full attention to hygiene. We can take care of cleaniness.
So lets make todays special recipe -Chole Wrap
As you may know, chole i.e Chickpea is a classic favorite in Indian Cuisine. It is loved by peoples of all ages.
Chole Bhature, Aloo Chola, chole salad and Chole wrap and even with Rice chola goes well.
Chole is cooked in different ways where some put onions, garlic, tomatoes and indian spices with full of spicy, tangy flavour.
Lets start to make.
INGREDIENTS
💫chole boiled-2 cup
💫potato boiled - ½cup
💫oil-1tbspn
💫cumin seeds-½tspn
💫curry leaves-4 nos
💫tomatoes puree-1 cup
💫turmeric powder-½tspn
💫Redchilli powder -½tspn
💫coriander powder½tspn
💫salt- to the taste
💫dry mango powder-½tspn
💫coriander leaves-
Method
💥Boil the chickpeas and potatoes.
💥Then drain them and let them cool completely.
💥Further mash the chickpeas in a plate with potato masher. Dont press it much.
💥Then heat oil in a pan.
💥Add cumin seeds , asafoedita , curry leaves
💥Then add tomatoes puree, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and
Mix it well.
💥Further add mashed chickpeas and boiled potatoes. Sprinkle salt and pepper
💥Mix it well. Add some dryango powder and garam masala.
Add some coriander leaves.
💥Mix and off the gas stove
Now take all purpose flour , wheat flour add some nigella seeds, salt and 1 tbspn oil
💥Mix all well and knead a soft dough.
Keep aside for 30 mins.
Now divide the dough in equal parts.
💥Dust some flour and roll out the chapati.
💥Heat skillet and place the chapati..
💥Cook from both the sides till it is golden brown.
Smear some ghee. Dont skip ghee because it will be more tastier.
💥Then spread some green coriander chutney .
💥Place the chickpea masala in the center of the paranthas as shown in the pic.
💥Then add some sliced cucumber and pickled onion.
💥Fold over from both the sides to close the roll.
💥Again cook for 2 to 4 mins for more crispiness.
And then enjoy the wrap with more chutney on the side.
💥Its ready and enjoy...
💥The restover chana masala can be used in sandwich or eaten with rice or dal...
