Prevention they say is better than cure, I live in a country where nothing is safe for consumption except for the things you make by yourself at home.
Before I talk about how I managed to make my water clean for drinking, let me talk about what I saw online some weeks ago.
I have always told people that buying food outside or water is not safe anymore because here in Nigeria everyone wants to become rich at all costs, which has pushed some people to make fake products for other people to consume.
There is no drink that doesn't have fake products, now to talk about water which is very simple to manufacture without stress, in fact, there is no need for treatment.
So I saw a pure water factory that also made table water, meanwhile, they don't have a NAFDAC number on their products but because people don't check for that on sachet water or table water before drinking, they were able to run the factory without any stress.

I don't know who exposed them but based on what I saw online, they picked empty bottles randomly and washed them then started filling them with water without treatment.
They also have people who sell the water for them in the traffic, meanwhile, those who sell in the traffic would have refrigerated the water so people wouldn't suspect anything with the water.
I don't like buying anyhow products when it comes to something I would consume, so let's now talk about how I managed to treat my water at home which anyone can do it as well.
I always boil the water in the kettle then after that I pour it inside a clean bucket, I actually bought this big bucket with a cover for my drinking water.
After the water has cooled off, I will pour the water guard inside it then I will pour the water inside bottles then put them inside a refrigerator.
The refrigerator cooled it off very well before I started drinking the water. That is a very simple water to keep water clean for consumption, at least with that I am sure the water I drink every day is clean.
Someone once asked me why I always have bottled water with me wherever I go, I answered the person that I treated the water myself so I am sure of it that is why I prefer taking it with me wherever I go instead of buying water outside that I don't know the source.
It is only God who is saving us in this country because aside from drinking untreated water, pet drinks too are not safe anymore for consumption because there are lots of fake drinks outside now, which we can't differentiate between the original drink and the fake one.
My method of making water clean is very simple and affordable for everyone who wants to take care of their water by themselves. Even without putting water guards, boiling water kills germs in the water and that alone makes the water safe for drinking.
So yes, my water is clean and safe for drinking at any time.

You are right, we have to be careful of things we are buying this days. Alot of fake products everywhere.

The reuse of plastic containers without proper sanitization or potable water is a widespread practice. It is no secret that having adequate water and containers takes time and effort, and some retailers are not willing to pay that price. Regards @princess-dara
The best thing to do is to treat the water yourself to be sure of what you are drinking because nothing is safe here.
It is why I don't like buying table water from traffic because of issues like this. Imagine lots of people who would have bought the water and drank not knowing the plastics they used were taken from the ground without thorough cleaning.
Water is something we must not drink anyhow because it will only affect our health.
