Depression can kill if it hasn't killed more than enough people already and it is very sad to hear that people take their lives by themselves because of how life treats them. I believe the ability to control depression and move on in life is only the grace of God. And if God doesn't help you to overcome, you might end up loosing your life.
I have also been into depression and faced life through so many difficulties even at my tender age, this is what surprises me the most, as young as I am. But I believe that,
when there is life, there is hope.
so why die when you still have hope(life)?!, why kill your hope because of depression?!
At this point, do you think a motivational message would take any effect to make them change their thoughts or would they all be like speeches to a deaf person?
Motivation may vary differently from person to person some people do not believe in spoken words but rather actions. And some people can take little advise and keep it to themselves. But what matters most is your ability to understand and stand back up from your depression.
So in this case if you can do both it would be deeply appreciated. If you can speak good words of encouragement and at the same time take a step into supporting them either financially or anywhere the action is needed this is the most appreciated effort so far.
The ability to overcome depression is mostly by the grace of God alone so we can only pray to God concerning this. And while God is there to answer that prayers, we should also help ourselves too.
This is the reason why you should always check up on some old friends because people are going through alot even without telling you anything they keep their depression to themselves and work their hard life through.

Yeah, prayer is an important factor in our lives. Every human needs it to survive. It takes more than just words, action is required to help a person in such a situation. I really love your reply bro.
