Boredom Can Bring Out The Most Unimaginable.

We all have certain things that are fun for us, and what we call fun varies depending on individuals' interests. Football can be fun to me, but I have barely watched any football match in the past 10 years; it doesn't interest me that much. Whereas there are millions of guys, even females all around the world who watch football and love it very much. What is fun and of interest to us differs because everyone is unique in their own way.

So is boredom, absence of fun, and lack of interest; also determined by our interest. It's not new that boredom can cause one to do certain things that might be unexpected, unusual, regretable, or bad at times, which I think I've had just few times in the past.

One of the interesting things about me is that I love good food a lot, and I love to cook also. I've got lots of questions like "why do you like cooking?" "You cook too much for a guy,"etc . I really don't have answers to those than the fact that I know I like food and I love to make them myself at every possible time. Boredom can also make one overdo what one truly loves to do. I could remember I use to eat too much because of boredom, it seemed like a better way to avoid the boredom or shift focus off it; works for a while but you get more than just boredom when the food finishes. You get very uncomfortable, hard to catch your breath and sweaty. That was an experience I have had many times when I was a lot younger. I also found a way to get something to eat.

Trying to stop that habit of eating too much when bored, I found a particular brand of peanut burger called "Nutzy". This burger tastes so good and very very crunchy, doesn't have any bad groundnut inside of it. I got addicted to this Nutzy peanuts when I was in the university, I eat so many a day that I got noticed not just by friends but by sellers around school areas. I used to be broke to get food at times but not Nutzy, I'd find a way to make sure I taste at least two a day, which is very rare to take onle two in a day 😅. This Nutzy burger became my go to when I am bored or not, I always have it with me in the hostel and gradually my friends started eating it, found out it was really good but they didn't like it as much as I do, one or two per day was okay for them, not me. I could eat up to 30+ in a week.

When boredom shows up, I only need to open up a Nutzy and begin to eat it slowly, crush the crunchy peanuts slowly but loud as possible as though I the sound would overshadow the boredom. I do this at night most times, cruching Nutzy till I finish all I bought. It became a habit to eat as much as possible because there were lots of boring days being a student.

I took a long time before I was able to stop the habit of eating too many Nutzy, it was an addiction and I was proud of it at that time. I reduced the number I eat per day, it took a lot of determination and intentionality to do that. It also took money from me because I eat a lot in a week, almost close to a carton in a month, yeah, it was that bad. I'm glad I was able to stop it.

Now, I handle boredom better. I have more important things I focus on and I give each thing a laser focus until I move on to the next one. Boredom is now a lack of having something important to do,something meaningful enough to get your mind off distractions. There are now goals and target I must meet, life is not all that rosy and cool. I now understand and know how to make good use of every time I have (as much as I can).

I can totally relate with eating too much when I am bored cause growing up as kids our dinner time was 7pm and on some days when our parents were out and I was bored I will convince my younger siblings and we would practically fast-forward the wall clock to 7pm so we could have dinner early enough 🤣😅

Indeed, boredom is something that you cannot control all the time. But I must say your I would love to say burger addiction rather than boredom🤣. !lol
So, you were a burger addicted person, and such an addiction is indeed rare. !PIZZA
