In every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, this is newton’s third law of motion…
I couldn’t stop myself from relating Newton’s third law of motion to the hive learners edition three prompt, I am not sure if the non-science student will understand the relationship between these two concepts but I can boldly attest to the fact that the science students in the community will understand the relationship these two concepts has…
Fret not because I will be elaborating this relationship to the non-science students for an easier, faster, and better understanding of what I will be sharing today…
Newton’s third law of motion states that in every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, this law means that the end result you get from every action is due to the amount of effort you have put into making such task a success…

Take for instance, your level of preparation for an examination will determine the success/result of your examination, if you read and study well, then there is a 90 percent chance of coming out with flying colors, and also at the same time if you don’t prepare well for the examination, your chance of failing is over 70 percent unless an external factor is involved, external factors like cheat/expo which is common…
In summary, this means that the amount of effort we put into doing something will determine its end result, it can be a failure or success…
After breaking down newton’s law In relationship to our topic for today, can you all now see how the topic of the edition 3 prompt (effort and result) is associated with Newton’s third law…
well well well, that is that about that, without wasting too much time on my introduction to the topic, I will be taking you all on my journey of efforts and result, and even when my result was lesser than the effort I put into making it work…
EQUAL EFFORT EQUAL RESULT…
I will be using my high school experience as an example in these two cases/scenarios…
As a student it is indeed a must for every student to take both tests and examinations before he or she can be promoted to the next class…
This happened over three years ago when I was taking my SSCE(senior secondary school certificate examination), it has become a normal procedure in this country for students to be helped whenever there is an SSCE going on, it has been happening in the past and I am sure it won’t be stopping any time soon since most students need little help to pass their WAEC in flying colors, nobody is an island of knowledge, which means we can’t know it all and that is why little assistance is somehow needed for this exams…
I think it was on the day we had the chemistry examination, as a lover of chemistry both in calculation and theory aspects, we have been preparing for it before we started our SSCE examination, and we were now familiar with the likely questions that were going to come out in our theory part, we were prepared beforehand and that made us a bestie to all the likely questions that will surface…
I had studied chemistry theories like crazy man days prior to the actual examination, out of all the subjects I did in my WAEC/SSCE, chemistry was the most certain one for me, I knew I was going to do well in the chemistry examination because I have had countless sleepless nights preparing for it, days I drank coffee to stay up, days I didn’t sleep at all, mehn i had to sacrifice a lot of my sleep for a good result…

Chemistry and physics were compulsory subjects and I had to pass them, lo and behold, on the day of the chemistry examination, I didn’t wait for any external assistance and I started working on my own immediately, everything I read and studied came out in my theory part, topics like titration, water, organic compounds, organic chemistry, balancing of equations and many more topics came out as expected…
Seeing all these familiar topics made me work without expo and at the end of it all, I had to take assistance for the ones I wasn’t sure of, and at the end of the whole examination, I had B2 in my chemistry examination, it was just how I predicted it to be…
I knew my efforts would be getting me at most a B2 and to God be the glory I had exactly that B2 in my chemistry exam and that was a good one for me because I knew I did almost 70 percent of it myself, that is worthy of congratulations…
MORE EFFORT LESS RESULT…
This particular event happened about 5 years ago, I will never forget this day because it was the first time I solved a physics examination like a mad man and at the end of the day, my result wasn’t justifying all the efforts I put into it…
It was during our SS2 second term examination, back then I was a lover of physics not unlike now where physics is one of my achilles heels…
As usual, we all were given AOC for the preparation of our physics examination, I was determined to get a very good score in my physics examination for the second time, and this made me to go the extra mile to prepare for this examination, I had to take lessons from a junior in my house because she was a nerd in physics…
The long-awaited day came and as expected we saw similar questions, the thoroughly prepared me started solving like a mad man and after one hour and forty minutes, i finished 5th to last and left the class in joy, I was happy because I was thoroughly prepared, after two days I saw my result and tears rolled down my eyes 👀…

I had 35 over 60 in a subject I worked morning and night to pass, after being sad all week, i found out my physics teacher didn’t actually mark the scripts, it was marked by another teacher and that made me go to my real physics teacher for confirmation…
After all checkings, he found out I had 42 over 60, I still wasn’t happy with it because the effort I put into it was supposed to get me a 50 at most over 60 but it wasn’t bad since I did try my best…
In summary, I finally agreed to the score I got and went home to show my parents and junior tutor, it was a good remark from them but I learnt something that day, there are times when we need to go out of our comfort zone to achieve our goals, I was able to do better because I took help for someone irrespective of the class and age gap…
In conclusion, i wasn’t totally happy with my result but I was happy to know that I was gradually improving which is the best result I needed at that moment…
THANKS FOR READING 📖

We have to keep trying and one day success will surely come. They should be met little by little, but we should not give up
You have written very well
Thanks for stopping by brother 👦
I don't really agree 100% with all you say bro. Sometimes things fail not really because you didn't put in the effort but some other factors.
Thanks for your contribution bro
your welcome my dear sister @quduus1
Sometimes, our results will depend on the effort we put in and in most cases, it wouldn't be so as this would leave us wondering and asking, how come? For your second part of the story, I had something similar too which still leaves me in shock till today because I knew how much I read and was sure I would be getting a good grade. I couldn't curse the lecturer. Lol
Omo it wasn’t funny my dear but what could I do ?? I just had to accept what I was given but I was more happy I was gradually improving in those subject…
That is it. It is the progress and understanding of it that matters.
B2? You really tried my dear. I ran away from science just because of chemistry and physics. I no day ohh!
Thanks for sharing
Hehe. Those two subjects are crazy indeed but with the right teacher, it will be interesting and fun, thanks for stopping by my post dear
Atimes we question our results after applying so much effort and sometimes we get something bigger than what we have put it. I know it wasn't a funny experience for you but what can you do .at least the result wasn't bad atall..we keep moving forward
Indeed, it was not bad doing better then the past and I was more happy I did well and that’ was my overall joy at the end of the whole thing.. thanks for stopping by
Hahaha 😂😂🤣
Who is this man after 12 days 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😊🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol well apart from replying late, your comment was the only one that came last and I missed it lol
Oh...I am sorry, it happens to me as well... especially when I have removed my mind from the post
heheeh i am sorrier lol
