My privacy right is something I don’t take for granted in any way and that’s because I believe it is the only right that matters to me after my right to life. I have never been the one to invade peoples privacy anyhow and that too at any point in time, and this is because i know there are over a thousand and one other people out there who value their privacy just as much as I do. So if I don’t want people to invade my privacy at will, i’d have to stay within my boundaries at all times, except on rare occasions where permission is given…

Life is more meaningful and less dangerous when little to no one has access to you or anything valuable enough to cause you pain, discomfort or suffering. We are in a world where majority of the people we have around us are opportunity seekers, once they have access to an information that’s not meant to be heard by a third party, they show their true self and that’s by becoming the controller of your life. The fact that we don’t know who is who is more than enough reason for us to be careful, especially when it comes to our privacy…
Information is power. I believe this something we all know to be factual before now. People can’t control you with what they don't know. They can only control you with something they know, depending on the weight of that information and the level of damage it would cause if revealed to the public…
Moving on, I don’t think it would be okay for everyone to give up their right to privacy, especially to someone like the government in exchange for what? Security? Oh my word. This is very hilarious. Guess what? The last person i’d give access to privacy would be the government. Giving them access to my privacy would mean I trust them, and just so you know it, I don’t and can’t trust the government with anything. I’d rather be in charge of both my privacy and my security than to give up one for the other. At the end of the day, our safety and security is our burden to bear, and not that of the government’s…
I don’t want the government to have access to my life in exchange for their security. Incase you’ve all forgotten, the government is made up of different kinds of people, including the bad, corrupt and the good guys. What’s the guarantee that we’d be hundred percent safe if given unparalleled access to our life. A lot is already happening here and there even without their hundred percent access to our lives…

Imagine giving out the power to make and break you to someone other than yourself. It’s better to have everything under my control than for someone else to have everything under their control. I’m not ready to give up my privacy in exchange for security, not especially in a country like mine…
In conclusion, I’d rather have my privacy intact than to exchange it for government security. If I perish i perish, it would be much better to perish under one’s own control than in the control of another…

I love the way you conclude... "If I perish, I perish..."
I can't trade my privacy for security as well, because privacy in itself is security. There's no way you feel safe and secured knowing that you're being watched.
Thanks for sharing.
❤️❤️❤️
Thanks brother, you get the point. Thanks for stopping by champ..
Very much welcome 🤗
I think giving up your privacy to the government in exchange for security will only bring more security threats than if you didn't give it up. I feel it'd even make more of a threat because then they can do anything and nothing would be done about it because the privacy has already been surrendered.
Exactly. They already have access to it even with our permission, and things are still this way, what more do they want that they don’t already have. I just won’t settle for such if i have the chance… thanks for stopping by dear
