This prompt got me thinking and asking myself, how will I cope without social media? What would I have done regarding my business if not for social media? How would I have gotten the opportunity to express my ideas and thoughts to the world if not for social media? After asking myself all these questions, I realized that it wouldn't have been possible without social media. And if it's possible, it would be a slow growth that will take several years to achieve. With no social media in my life, it would have been a different story entirely.
Firstly, business-wise, I am an online vendor, I market all my goods on the internet using social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. I got the majority of my customers via these platforms and the business has been doing well since inception. Social media has helped me grow my brand not limiting it to my current state of residence but to almost all states in Nigeria. Social media has also helped me to learn more about how to keep my business on top-notch.
Without social media in my life in terms of my business, it would have been worse because the knowledge I've acquired through social media to help sustain my business might not have been possible. Also marketing my business would have been difficult because reaching out to a large number of people would have been impossible which means I would have been confined to a place where people can only see what I have when they come there.
In terms of education, social media has been of great help to me, knowledge can be passed over via all these social media platforms including Zoom. To acquire knowledge now comes on a platter of gold unlike before. I can easily communicate with my teachers and ask questions and I can also read and improve myself academically through social media. It might be possible to do all these I've said without social media but believe it's going to take longer than you can ever imagine accompanied by stress.
In terms of communication, if social media had been absent in my life, lots of family and friends would have tagged me with a bad name. I'm sure it would have changed my life for the worse and probably I wouldn't have any friends anymore because I'm not the type that goes for visiting. The only medium I have to check on their well-being is through social media platforms. There I can hear their voices and also see their faces if I wish and desire so daily.
Social media has helped me keep good relationships with my friends and family, saving me the stress of visiting which I might not do. Therefore assuming there is no social media, it would have been from one fight to another because as a family or friend, they will expect such closest and best communication from me which I might not be able to give.
Down to my career as a writer, social has been a good manager for me, giving me many opportunities to explore and make my passion useful. If not for the help of social media I wouldn't have been able to upgrade both in my speaking and written English. Social Media also allowed me to reach out to the world at large, taking Hive as an example, it has helped me even in my finances.
If there is no social media then my activities will be limited and life for me will be so boring because I can't go a day without social media. To me, it is my virtual partner who gets my back anytime and any day.

I would be fair to say that our lives are wired with social media and the connection we have with it and the impact on us is one big proof.
Business wise, social media has helped everyone except those who choose to follow the negative path of it. Showing my content as a writer wouldn't have been possible without social media as well.

I congratulate you for the good use you are making of social networks, business, education, communication with other people. But you must have an emergency plan in case they ever fail you. You should avoid dependence on them, and be careful not to get blindfolded by misleading messages or trends.

I wonder how business owners will cope to continue business if social media no longer exists. At least, 60% of the leads and customers comes from online and 100% of it's solely a digital product.
It would also affect education like you've mentioned, manu students go online to learn more about what they've been taught already.
