Hey everyone! Reading is today's Hive Learners topic, and my first exposure to it was very young. I loved reading Monica's Gang comics. I always picked up and read several from my school library. This was around 2015. Wow, it's been 10 years, crazy lol. I remember imagining myself when I turned 18, where I would be, and about military enlistment. Today I want to share my progress with the books I've read, and tell you what it was like, and where I am today.
¤ The Beginning
The first type of book I discovered was storybooks. I remember I had one with 365 bedtime stories. It was really long, with some short stories and always some pictures. I'd even forgotten about it, but it made me miss it, lol. Overall, it was pretty simple, but it really left a lasting impression on me. I think everyone read something like that. I think it must have been in my second year of elementary school or earlier.

☆ First Change
Well, with those storybooks, I had some comics, but some were torn, and there were relatively few. However, in the third grade, I changed schools, and with that, it had a library, so now I had access to tons of comics. I definitely read more than 200. I read one every day, and I always reread it frequently. I had forgotten about that, lol, but it's quite memorable. I read a lot of Monica's Gang and even the Young One, which had some references to famous things of the time.

When I reached 5th grade at the same school, I started taking literature classes, where I had some more complex books. I remember reading Don Quixote, Gulliver's Travels, Robinson Crusoe, etc. Now, they weren't comics, and I hated reading most of them, except for Gulliver's Giant, which had amazing illustrations.
7th Grade
In 7th grade, the complexity increased a lot. The books were now huge and had almost no illustrations. I remember reading Alice in Wonderland to my mother, who always asked me to read it aloud to her, something I hated at the time, but now I see the value and always try to do. I hated reading Alice at first, but I thought I'd miss it, and in the end, I was right.

High School
When I started high school, I started reading several books: Machiavelli's The Prince, The Seven Rings, Sun Tzu, some biographies, the older and more well-known self-help books. Then I started reading books like 1984, The Metamorphosis, etc. It was a great time. I read some self-help books like The Power of Habit, which was lent to me, and a few others. My reading maturity increased, and it was the time I read the most "real" books.

College
Finally, we've reached the current phase where I read very few books and am spending more time on social media. It's something I have to change, but the books at home have mostly already been read or I'm not interested in them. My only source of books is probably pirated books or the college library, which, from what I've seen, isn't that good.
Why I Read Less
I think the thing that made me read less was the lack of books. So, I have some digital ones, but I get distracted easily because they're competing with other apps. How are your reading habits?

Leitura é o tema de hoje do Hive Learners, e meu primeiro contato foi bem novo, eu amava ler gibis da turma da Mônica, na biblioteca da minha escola eu sempre pegava e lia vários, isso por volta de 2015, caraca faz 10 anos já que doideira kkkkk, eu lembro de me imaginar ao fazer 18, onde eu estaria, sobre o alistamento militar. Hoje quero dar minha evolução nos livros que li, e falar pra vocês como foi, e como estou hoje em dia.
¤ O começo
O primeiro tipo de livro que conheci eram os de historinha, eu lembro que eu tinha um de 365 histórias para escutar antes de dormir, era muito grande, tinha alguns contos e sempre umas imagens, eu tinha até esquecido, mas deu ate uma saudade kkkkk, no geral ele era bem simples, mas realmente me deu uma boa marca, acho que todo mundo leu algo assim, isso acho que deve ter sido no meu segundo ano do fundamental ou antes.

☆ Primeira mudança
Bom, com aqueles livros de histórias, eu tinha alguns gibis, porém alguns estavam rasgados, e eram relativamente poucos, porém no terceiro ano mudei de escola, e com isso ela tinha biblioteca, então agora eu tinha acesso a toneladas de gibis, com certeza li mais que 200, todo dia lia algum, e sempre relia com frequência, eu tinha esquecido disso kkkkkk, mas é algo bem memorável, li bastante turma da Mônica e ate a jovem, que tinha umas referências a coisas famosas da época.
▪︎ O 5° Ano
Ao chegar no 5° Ano na mesma escola, eu comecei a ter aulas de literatura, onde eu tinha alguns livros mais complexos, lembro de ler Dom Quixote, o As viagens de Gulliver, Robinson Crusoé, etc. Agora não eram gibis, e eu odiava ler a maioria deles, menos Gigante de Gulliver que as ilustrações eram dahoras de mais.
O 7° ano
No 7° ano a complexidade aumentou muito, agora os livros eram gigantes e quase não tinham ilustrações, lembro de ter lido Alice No Pais Das Maravilhas, para minha mãe, que sempre pedia pra que eu lesse em voz alta pra ela, coisa que eu odiava na época, mas hoje em dia eu vejo o valor e tento sempre fazer. Eu odiei ler Alice no começo, mas eu pensei que teria saudade disso, e no final eu estava certo.

O Ensino Médio
Ao começar o ensino médio, comecei a ler vários livros, O principe de Maquiavel, Os sete aneis, Sun Tzu, algumas biografias, os livros mais antigos e conhecidos meio que de autoajuda, depois passei a ler livros como 1984, A metamorfose, etc. Foi uma fase legal, li alguns livros de autoajuda como O poder do hábito, que me emprestaram e alguns outros, a maturidade da leitura deu uma aumentada, e foi a época que mais li livros "de verdade".

A faculdade
Por fim, chegamos a fase atual, onde eu leio muito pouco livros, e estou ficando mais em redes sociais, é algo que eu tenho que mudar, mas os livros de casa meio que a maioria ja foi lido ou eu não tenho interesse, possivelmente minha única fonte de livro é a pirataria ou a biblioteca da faculdade, que até onde eu vi não é tão boa.
Porque Leio Menos
Acho que a coisa que me fez ler menos, foi a falta de livros, então tenho alguns digitais, so que me distraio fácil, por estar competindo com outros aplicativos, e você, como estão seus hábitos de leitura?

Acho que livro digital não tem nada a ver. Precisa ser o físico mesmo, pra mim é o que funciona. Eu leio notícias e coisas curtas no formato digital, mas a possibilidade de distração é muito grande mesmo. Então nem penso em ler livro assim.

Isso aí! Pra mim eu também retenho muito menos conteúdo, então mesmo os livros sendo mais acessíveis com pirataria, não funciona pra mim, se eu tivesse como alugar livros mensalmente por um preço justo eu certamente faria, valeu pelo comentário crazy!

Eu sou horrivel com livros, realmente nunca fui de ler, apenas os que a escola mandava ler para poder fazer prova e tal, mas é isso ai mano, ler eh bom, na verdade temos que forçar isso sempre, ler e aprender tudo o que temos direito, é assim que funciona!
