I agree with your mother that when you make things easy for children, you make them into bad people. lovely how your father will want to make available what he didn't get as a child. Some parents will say that their children will have to suffer what they suffered. Hardship builds up children, but when it is available, a parent is meant to provide for their children. I learnt how to save and invest earlier in life, just like you.
