Yesterday's view from the Bastion on the panorama after sunset. There were a dozen or so similar bastions around the city, built in the 17th century. I went here with my dog for a walk. It was nice, warm, 24 degrees at 22 o'clock. At the end of the walk, I wanted to see from above. I was very surprised to see a woman from a distance waving her arms and jumping strangely. When I approached it, it turned out that it was inhabited by quite large insects. I have never seen so many May beetles as I did yesterday evening on the bastion. A real siege or a plague. They got tangled up in their hair, buzzed against the ears, were everywhere. They were flying, they were walking on everything. I tried to take pictures of the insects roaming in the grass, but it was dark and I failed. I read that the May beetle flies in the evenings from May to early July, and I thought they had delayed their dates...

This mini-walk is located at Nowe Ogrody Street. At its end you can see the Provincial Hospital (where I was born) in the distance. Going up the other side of it, you will come to the Hevelianum Center.

But this building reflected in the puddle...
How not to take a photo...
