Good and bad behaviour are as a result of learning and also, we inherit parts from our parents and the society at large.
When talking about behavior, it's sometimes learnt from our parents and the society we find ourselves in. No wonder the family is considered to be the smallest unit of the society. The family is the nucleus of the society and its the foundation laid by the family that we are seen replicating itself in the society.
Some of the good and bad behaviour learnt from the individual parents are what we are seeing manifesting in the society at large.
Having said this, permit me to do justice with the topic of the prompt which is all about behaviour.
One thing I have got to know with my little experience about life is that behaviour can be learnt and at the same time inherited.
However, learning or inheriting a behavior may be from our parents or the society is a matter of choice.
When talking about the learning process of behaviour, it's a known fact that we humans react and behave with what we see and feel others doing. For example, we humans react and behave like others that are close to us in society.
Although, it might be consciously or unconsciously but in our relationship with others, we tend to behave like they do most especially when we might have been together for a very long time and in the case of our parents, there's no way we will not tap from their way of life.
The way we talk, eat, think or even relate with others in society , whether good or bad, can in most cases be traced down to the way our parents behave.
I have seen a guy behaving the same way as his father and also a lady behaving like her mother. Also, I have seen a member of a church preaching as his pastor. These and many more are the power in which people's behavior can influence.
However, as much as we can learn from others' behaviour, we can also inherit our parents' behaviour and act like them. Like I said earlier, sons in most cases behave like their father and daughters as their mother.
But at times, there are exceptions to this. I have seen a bad man whom everyone in the society would not like to relate with having a good and well bred son who everyone sees as a good boy and wants to relate with.
Also on the contrary, I have seen a very good woman who's seen as a virtuous woman and held in high esteem by all in the society, but her daughter, Simbi would not even give her rest for a second as she would be seen fighting here and there and also sleeping around with men around the street and look at the mother, she's well respected that she counsels people most especially ladies and even women around her, but her own daughter, a disgrace to her and woman folds.
In conclusion, behavior to me can be learnt and at the same time, be inherited. The only thing for us is to always check ourselves from time to time and correct where we are when we see our behavior is not good and if we have a good behavior, let's try to maintain it for the benefit of all.

I agree with you that sometimes children get inspired from parents that they're trying to be like them but behavior is learning from society
