We know that society tries to enforce standards in some way, and that these standards cannot always be achieved by everyone. We need to understand that this economic or social standard will not always be applicable to everyone. After all, how can we apply a rule that requires you to buy nice, expensive things if you live in poverty or are part of the middle class? It's impossible to say that this standard applies to an entire society, for example, to everyone in a neighborhood, a city, or even a country.
It's important to understand that each person has their own reality, their own way of living and being there. So, if we have a high-level standard, which refers to a high class of society, how can we pursue this standardization? It's obvious that we won't have the financial or even structural resources, such as family, work, willpower, connections, or ideas. In other words, our reality won't be able to reach the same level of standardization imposed by high society; this is insanely impossible in certain cases.
I don't think it needs to be a huge group of people imposing a standard on us; even people close to us can impose or try to impose a standard that we can't achieve. I often see people posting about traveling frequently or that every weekend they're at a bar, a party, things like that. I don't have the financial means or the energy to maintain that kind of lifestyle, so even if that's their routine, it certainly won't be mine.
UnsplashTherefore, I think that if a group of people tries to standardize something that's beyond my reality, it becomes senseless and out of the question. Making these comparisons and expecting everyone to have the same outcome won't work. Some people have more opportunities, more money, more connections, while others, unfortunately, won't have all of these, so the formula for this equation won't be the same for everyone. We won't know what to do or how to follow this new standard, so I believe that, in reality, each person should follow a standard that matches their reality.
I think trying to follow these standards or letting people impose them on us is completely wrong, because ultimately, we can't follow the routines and ways that other people follow; it's a matter of logic, of opportunities. Our society has become divided; we have different economic classes (or levels, whatever). It's impossible for someone living in the favela to follow the standards of those who live and interact with high society; it would be a massacre. It's not that a person can't change their reality. I'm not saying that those born poor will remain poor, but it's difficult to change that level.
I may have a very different opinion; you might think I lack ambition or something else, but I always say that wanting to live well, do what you want, have money for travel, parties, luxury cars, mansions—everyone wants that, but it's not easy to achieve. If it were easy, everyone would be rich, everyone would have a high standard of living, but that's not how life works. We live by what is closest to our reality, so not all standards can be applied to all people in a society.

Sabemos que a sociedade tenta de alguma forma implementar padrões forçados e que esses padrões nem sempre podem ser alcançados por todas as pessoas que ali estão. Precisamos entender que nem sempre esse padrão econômico ou social será possível de ser aplicado a todos, afinal, como poderemos aplicar uma regra em que você precisa comprar coisas boas e caras se a pessoa vive numa situação de pobreza ou se você é uma pessoa que faz parte da classe média? Fica inviável dizer que esse padrão é aplicado em toda uma sociedade, por exemplo, em todas as pessoas de um bairro, ou uma cidade, ou até mesmo de um país.
É preciso entender que cada pessoa tem a sua realidade, a sua forma de viver e de estar ali. Então, se temos um padrão de alto nível, que refere-se a uma alta classe da sociedade, como poderemos correr atrás dessa padronização? É óbvio que não teremos recursos financeiros e até mesmo estruturais, como, por exemplo, família, trabalho, força de vontade, conexões, ideias, ou seja, a nossa realidade não se aplicará para chegar ao mesmo nível de uma padronização imposta pela alta sociedade, isso é insanamente impossível de acontecer em certos casos.
Penso que nem precisa ser um conjunto enorme de pessoas que impõe uma forma de padrão em cima da gente, até mesmo pessoas próximas podem colocar ou tentar colocar uma forma de padrão que a gente não conseguirá alcançar. Muitas vezes vejo pessoas postando sobre viajar com certa frequência ou que todo final de semana elas estão em um bar, uma festa, coisas do tipo. Eu não tenho condições financeiras ou energia suficiente para manter esse tipo de vida, então, por mais que essa seja a rotina de vida dessa pessoa, ela com certeza não será a minha rotina.
UnsplashSendo assim, penso que se um conjunto de pessoas tenta padronizar uma coisa que está acima da minha realidade, isso se torna algo sem noção e fora de cogitação. Fazer essas comparações de situações e querer que todas elas tenham o mesmo resultado não irá funcionar. Algumas pessoas têm mais oportunidades, mais dinheiro, mais contatos, enquanto outras infelizmente não terão tudo isso, então a fórmula dessa equação não será a mesma para todos. Não saberemos o que fazer ou como fazer para seguir esse novo padrão, então acredito que, na verdade, cada um deve seguir um padrão que corresponda à sua realidade.
Penso que tentar seguir esses padrões ou deixar que as pessoas imponham isso na gente é algo totalmente errado, porque no final das contas, não dá para seguir essas rotinas e maneiras que outras pessoas seguem, isso é questão de lógica, de oportunidades. Nossa sociedade se tornou dividida, temos classes (ou níveis que seja) econômicos diferentes, é impossível que alguém que more na favela siga os padrões de quem mora e convive com a alta sociedade, isso será um massacre. Não que uma pessoa não consiga mudar a sua realidade, não estou falando que quem nasceu pobre vai continuar pobre, mas é difícil mudar esse patamar.
Posso ter uma ideia bem diferente, podem achar que falta ambição em mim ou qualquer outra coisa, mas eu sempre digo que querer viver bem, fazer o que quiser, ter dinheiro para viagens, festas, automóveis de luxo, mansões, todo mundo quer, mas não é nada que seja fácil de realizar. Se fosse fácil, todo mundo seria rico, todo mundo estaria em um alto padrão de vida e não é assim que a vida funciona. Vivemos aquilo que está mais próximo da nossa realidade, por isso, nem todos os padrões podem ser aplicados a todas as pessoas de uma sociedade.

Exactly that, I think we can live well in our own reality, not that this means we have to die in it, we can fight to improve our standard of living, but it has to be in our own time, no need to take or accept pressure from others to live something we can't afford.

That way, I think different realities are complicated to follow. It involves a lot of our minds and especially our pockets, so we won't always be able to maintain a standard imposed by society of wealth or things like that.
