It's really complicated, with the government always doing things that screw everything up, whether it's for a city or country or even for a locality in your daily life. Often there is a lack of transparency, but we know that they themselves want it that way, because why be transparent? So that the population and the press can question them more? Difficult...

Pakistan has very low taxes compared to other places. Still, the literacy rate and average income per capita remain problematic. They bait civilians with discounts and other schemes, and people fall for them. I don’t think conducting an operation in the middle of the night was a good move. As you can see, one pigeon and two cats are shown in the video, while the government claims that only one cat was injured.
I hope PETA conducts its own investigation and holds the LDA accountable for their actions.
Multiple local utubers claim atleast 350-400 cats where killed and 1000s of pigeons. But it will be revealed after a proper investigation of this case. I can't say it's truth at this stage.
Here Pakistanis r fighting for animal rights against LDA (a government department) and others r commenting on web2 social media that we eat cats. I think they mixed us with some other nation. Here majority eat Halal food and cat, and dogs ain't one of those.
It's really complicated, acting in the dead of night, doing these things, but what you said about the cats:
My God, how many animals, how many lives lost...
My work was to buzz on social media which I did. Hoping if more people talk about it, LDA will be held accountable. These days, social media holds a lot of power, especially when it comes to blogging.
I agree with you, popular pressure on social media is very positive. Here in Brazil, a lot has already changed because of popular pressure.
