_{Today is our International Mother Language Day. The day is celebrated all over the world as Mother Language Day. 1999 This year, UNESCO declared Bengali as the International Mother Language Day. On this day in 1952, a bloody movement took place to make Bengali the state language. Countless people including Salam, Rafiq and Jabbar lost their lives there, In the wake of this bloody movement, the then government was forced to recognize Bengali as the state language. Today we are able to speak in Bengali in return for their sacrifice.}

_{We speak Bengali but I am really skeptical about how well I can speak or write. I can understand by myself that due to all the surrounding conditions I myself am often in danger of speaking pure Bengali. Even in the current context, foreign languages ​​and subcultures are intertwined in such a way that it feels really bad. Many people feel ashamed to speak Bengali. The main reason for this is that various foreign subcultures are spreading, as a result of which our youth society is inclined towards that.There was a time when I was young. Ekushey February, in fact, our school used to have various patriotic programs.It would have inspired us a lot and awakened patriotism.But at the moment these are not visible, I am skeptical about what our children will learn.I am really trying hard to teach my child about Bangla language and culture.But change is also needed in the society.We all have to come forward to protect the dignity of Bengali language and inspire the society starting from the family.}

What can we do for Mother Language

_{We must uphold the honor of our mother tongue.That's why we have to start from the family.First of all we can give proper education about language to our children. They need to be taught the correct assessment of their mother tongue and how to keep it up to date.Then we have to explain this to everyone in different social programs and we have to organize patriotic programs on special days, this will awaken patriotism in us.And if anyone really wants to spread anti-culture he has to be socially boycotted.The call to all is to respect the mother tongue and take your language forward}
