In Panama there are about 20 to 25 holidays, last year I remember having this conversation with a friend at work, thats almost an entire month out of the 12, the topic was the same do holidays affect and at a point we deviate to what we do on holidays because most ppl rest, it is my opinion that we should only work 5 days a week and rest 2 and have less holidays, the other variable is that we most humans have sleep disorders, tech has make it worst with short form content platforms so we do not rest in the correct way, 8 hours a day in a proper schedule we do it randomly, regarding birthday a holiday may be a yes why not as long as we cut down the less meaningful holidays

Wow, there are a lot of holidays there, impressive! I agree with you, it would be better to have a consistent work schedule where you work five days and rest two. Too many holidays must negatively affect some aspects.
