Damn, this is such a difficult topic to honestly just give a straightforward answer to. It may sound heroic on the exterior but believe me, It boils deeper than just mere words of mouth because what comes with an affirmative response to this question will be overwhelming even to the kindest of hearts...
Cancer has been a cankerworm eating deep into the health sector because not that it basically has no cure, but also, basically have no direct factor to what exactly causes it, rather it has loads of risk factors that just reduces the risk of you getting cancer but never completely makes you cancer-free.
The whole world has been investing on thousands of research hoping to one day land ourselves into discovering a cure for cancer and boom! It is discovered that my body holds the cure to cancer (I do not know how the discovery was linked to my gene though but let us say it is what it is😂)

But what would my reaction be? What would be my decision to this big question of allowing my body to be used for helping the whole world?
Would I really have a life?
One of the major things I would consider before saying yes is how it affects ME. If I give a go-ahead order to this big question, would I really have a life? Or would my life be under constant needles for extraction of one thing or another, under series of tests for one patient or another? Am I really living a life or I am just a cancer curative vessel for the world?
Answering these questions will definitely affect my response.
What if I want to stop?
It might be so easy to say yes initially going for the first saving mission as the euphoria that I am someone very important to the world will still be overflowing at that point, and I go for the second, the third and the number keeps increasing but what happens if by the "nth time" I want to stop? Will it be considered to be a wicked being who does not care so much about the human race or would it be considered that I have really done well by saving the number of patients I did before finally saying I want to take a break?
Then what about me?
No one who holds such a great vessel to a rare disease will ever be left unprotected because you will be a target to many who wants you for so many reasons, hence, would I be protected and would I be remembered for saving humanity?
In summary, it is really not the question anyone, even the worst of bad/ cold-hearted individuals will say "No" to, however, I will say yes, not blindly but under some conditions which must be met because in the forefront of saving others is the need to save oneself too.

The endless poking needles and safety precautions are things that can scare me into withdrawal from such a heroic act but if there are good conditions that are met for my safety,my future and more, then maybe....I would consider it.

I will also consider my safety first in all aspect, health, mental, etc. I as much as it is a deliverance for the world, I need to know what's in it for me. It could even expose myself and my family to danger.
