It's another Creative Sunday friends and today I want to share with you how I made this delicious and nutritious Ground Beef Stuffed Pie, complimenting it with vegetables and spices for that delicious tast of a homemade recipe.
Making this delicious pie 🌯 is all a simple process and does not take too much of our time to prepare especially if you Creve for homemade and already has some ingredients in the pantry.
In my today"s recipe preparation, I made just little from the ingredients that I have, but most time due increase ingredients quantity , especially if I want to keep some in the refrigerator for snacks time during the week. So you can always increase quantity for a large number of person or if you want to reserve in the refrigerator.
So come with me to see the ingredients and preparation process of making this Stuffed Pie 🌯.
INGREDIENTS :
250 g of Wheat flour
100 g of ground beef
Half of a tuber of sweet potatoe
2 finger carrots
1 egg
half of a green peppers
4 teaspoon of premium sugar
1 tablespoons of margarine
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of thyme
1 teaspoon of curry powder
1 soy cube
Salt to taste
Steps to Preparation:
- I started by cleaning, washing and dicing the carrots and the green pepper.
- Then peel the potatoes, washed, sliced and diced it into cubes too.
- Here the veggies are made ready to enable me move to another stage.
- Then I went on to start mixing the flour by adding the flour in a bowl followed by adding the dry ingredients. The sugar, the baking powder and pinch of salt. I will go ahead to mix the flour and ingredients thoroughly.
- Here afterwards, add the margarine, mix again before adding the egg. Mix well before adding the milk. Once the milk is added, we start by kneading the flour into a dough by using our hands so it can be easier and smooth. Once the dough is ready, we refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- While waiting for the dough for 30 minutes, we go ahead to pre boil the diced potatoes, adding a little salt.
- We afterwards start frying our sauce for filling the dough. We heat up the pan with little oil, adding pinch of salt, the green peppers and the carrots, then the ground beef, fry for a while to bring out the flavour.
- Finally we add the pre boil potatoes, the thyme, the soy cube and the curry powder. Stir continuously to avoid sticking.
- Our Ground Beef, Vegetable Spiced up sauce is ready. This is so nutritious and delicious. A whole meal on its own.
*So at this final stage, we move on to wrap up our dough for baking. This process is by cutting the dough into small sizes, flattening with a hand roller and filling in the sauce one by one.
- We finally have the dough filled up and ready for baking. This will go into the oven and bake for 35 - 40 minutes on low heat.
