You are correct. Sometimes a missed call can be important. I avoid obvious spam callers because the chance of missing something important is small. As for my sons? They just skip them all and wait for voice mail. Drives me nuts but that's them. As for ghosting others? Yeah, there can be good reason especially if someone is toxic or manipulative. Still, even then I would probably do a quick "Your toxic, I'm outta here" and then never reply to anything again.
But again, that's Gen-X talking. My son's think that's crazy :)
