About your septic tank, you should at least check its structure like the outlet and the manhole. Don't try to open the manhole and look down as the gas that might have accumulated might end you up unconscious. We don't want you to be dropping inside. LOL.

Btw, we have a neighbor here who don't have a septic tank and direct their dirt to the open river - now turning into a sewer canal. 😂
