That gum example hit me, because the same task can feel sweet early and then turn into jaw ache fast :).
Month end crunch can start as good pressure that wakes you up, then defintely flips if you keep pushing past the point.
I step away for tiny breaks and shut the laptop when numbers starts to blur, otherwise the next morning feels like sleep fought me.
We can't avoid stress, we just choose the dose and spit it out before it goes stale, thats' what keeps it helpful not harmful.
