In a world full of so many chaos and various engagement, one finds it hard or difficult to get all what he has in mind going. We might start something and before you know it, another thing has actually caught your attention simply because we want to do everything at once.
The world is full of chaos and different activities. It's safe to get a balance for your sanity and growth but how is that possible??

Using myself for instance, as I woke up this morning, I did all I wanted to do and one of the tasks I knew I needed to complete this morning was to write. I picked up my phone (since laptop was dead and I always used that as an excuse not to write).
There are some times I wake up to calls of important things that came up overnight a d need to be done coupled with school and work. If I continue to live that way without finding out a way out I will just be a ticking time bomb waiting to explode in someone's face now imagine if they (the plans) are not working out fine as we expected.
How do you find that peace that doesn't make your list of things to do seem irritating and annoying. Yes a time out and the right mindset is now needed. Let's continue untitled.gif

In the third featured content for the week on the hive-learners community, we will be discussing on how to find a balance which eventually leads to setting up a to-do list (setting priorities). As I said in my introduction, finding balance in a chaotic world is definitely a key to lasting wellbeing and growth.

We find ourselves in a not so understanding and demanding world, where achieving balance in life is a challenge and a necessity many of us face. With responsibilities, commitments, and distractions pulling us from different directions and angles, it's easy to feel frustrated and lost. However, finding balance is important for our overall wellbeing and sanity but some usually find the wrong way by getting the balance through drugs and others.

The concept of sanity is not a one-time check on the list but an everyday process. It's like walking on a thin line, where we need to constantly check ourselves to ensure that we are still in tune. So, what can help us achieve a sense of balance and wellbeing? Here are what works for me.

First on the list is, prioritizing self-care. I love myself is not me being selfish or self centred.
This includes taking care of your physical, mental, and emotional health. Engaging in regular exercise, healthy eating, and sufficient sleep are fundamental to maintaining energy and resilience.
This was something I have been neglecting for a while because I was trying to save up for a fixed target I set for myself but I eventually spent all on drugs and medical bills coupled with other things. Neglecting my self cost me a lot and sent me back to ground zero. So you should note, if you want to find a balance find yourself first and make sure you don't lose the key or the map on your way to the finish line

Prioritize Setting boundaries. This is another critical aspect of achieving balance. Learning to say "no" to non important commitments and distractions is key to preserving time and energy for what truly matters. This includes setting limits with technology, social media (I just made a post on how the mobile phone is doing more harm than good). It drains us and forces us to be that person we aren't and in return, we are off balance and any small tap we fall deep and have to start again. So set boundaries and limits.

Prioritize Relationships with loved ones, friends, and community:- These are also vital for balance and wellbeing. Surrounding yourself with supportive people who make it their goal to motivate and care for you can help provide a sense of belonging and security. Investing in these relationships through quality time, active listening, and empathy can create deeper connections and a stronger sense of purpose.

Also, engaging in activities that brings you joy and fulfillment is essential for balance. This can include hobbies, creative pursuits, or volunteering – anything that sparks passion and excitement. By making time for these activities, it has helped me boost my mood, and gain a sense of accomplishment since I don't get confused or distracted doing them.

Another crucial aspect of balance is prioritizing personal growth and development. Also know that you are not perfect and nobody is when we have this in mind, it shows us that we shouldn't criticise others for not being what you thought they are.

In conclusion, achieving balance in life is a continuous journey that requires effort and awareness. By prioritizing self-care, setting boundaries, and othes, we can nuture that sense of balance that can go far. Remember, balance is not a destination but a process, and by accepting this mindset, we can navigate life's challenges with ease and joy.

To help others we must first help ourselves, we must love ourselves not to go crazy or lose our sanity, we must focus on what we do and prioritize activities between the urgent and the important. We must reduce the dominance of social networks over us and surround ourselves with positive people.

How can love you if I don't love myself first. Forget being an humanitarian, there's a way I should treat myself if I want others to know how much I can care for them.
