This week I will make a creativity in the form of a traditional fishing rod that can be used for fishing, yes, I often make this creativity because our hobby in the village is fishing, this creativity is very useful when we are in the village, in the forest and also when camping,
In my area, the lowlands and swamps are so it is very easy to find a location for fishing, even behind my house there is a water embankment that always has fish and there are also often children fishing, okay let's start our main discussion, namely making creativity in the form of assembling a traditional fishing rod
materials needed
1, small hook

3, rubber from used sandals for buoys

First of all I will tie the hook with thread (special nylon thread for fishing) there are several tying techniques depending on your taste, but I often use the one knot technique for me this technique is neat and strong, you can also learn the fishing hook tying technique on youtube

After tying the hook tightly, now we will make a float from unused rubber sandals (the rubber in question is rubber that can float), the method is to cut the rubber sandals about two centimeters then make a rectangle and adjust it to your needs, not too big and not too small, then split the middle but not all the way, just half and insert the fishing line in the middle then tie it with another rope on both sides, arrange it so that the float can be raised and lowered to make it easier for us at all depths of the fishing spot, for more details see the picture below

Cut the fishing line to the required length to tie it to the rod here I use my old rod made of solid fiber, if you don't have one you can also use a long and strong wooden branch for the rod, I also often use small bamboo as a rod
It's done, we are at the final stage and have completed a traditional fishing rod that we can use to fish, not only that I will also practice how to use this fishing rod and will prove to my friends that there are many places to fish and the fish are abundant
Now let's look for the bait first, I hoe the ground to find worms
Just one hoe I can get one worm then I will share how to attach it to the hook
We just need to stick it on the hook and it will be like this, now we walk about 40 steps to the fishing spot, we have arrived and immediately started it
I have the fishing rod install and now we just have to wait for a fish to eat our bait, and sure enough, I didn't have to wait long, I got a medium-sized batok fish
Is it true what I said, there are a lot of fish here, oh yeah, the function of the float is to find out whether our bait has been eaten by the fish or not, and we only mark it on the float, this activity is very fun, friends who want to feel the sensation can follow the method I share.
