Your dad definitely sounded very strict 😅 but I like that you also mentioned the importance of balance. I personally feel soft parenting is good with discipline. But hitting kids and making them feel fear is not a good side of parenting. Anyway, that chicken story was really funny, yet I felt bad. Hopefully you guys are doing fine.
