Hello Hive friends, how are you? My vacation is over and I had to start classes, but I enjoyed playing video games on my phone and I went many times to the beach with my family and also with friends from high school, and I wanted to come and tell you about the best part of my summer vacation which was an excursion we did from one beach to another crossing a mountain that looked like a desert because of the amount of cactus that were there.
I took that trip with my family to two beaches that are close to my house, so we could walk there but my mom doesn't like walking so much and we went in the car.
That day we went early to "Playa Parguito " which is a beach in the Antolin del Campo Municipality in Margarita Island, Venezuela. It is a very famous beach here because many surfers go there because of the big waves and that's why we don't go there much, and that day we wanted more than anything to cross the hill to the other beach called "Puerto Abajo " which is very quiet.
We already know these two beaches, but we had not climbed the hill and my mom thought it would be a good idea to do it so that my sister and I could get to know them and we went one day when it was half cloudy and very early because of the sun, and as I told you we started climbing up Pargüito.
This hill is rocky, it looks like a giant stone covered with some earth and an incredible amount of cactus of all kinds and also some bushes that here they call Yaque and Guayacan, which are also plants that do not need much water and can be so in the middle of the sun and grow normally.
It was quite fun to go up because it is quite steep to climb and there were many things to see because from up there you can see the two beaches: Playa Pargüito and Puerto Abajo, also along the way you see two beaches like small ones between rocks and there are also two caves that are famous there that are called "Cueva de la bruja " and "Cueva Murciélago ", that according to many people jump from there, but my mom told me that it was very dangerous and that in one of those several people had died when jumping so I wasn't going to come up with anything crazy 🤣
We walked following the paths that were there, although neither my mom nor my dad knew which was the path that led to the other beach and we made two mistakes, in the end we went along the shore to be able to see where we were because there were huge cactus besides the yaque bushes that did not let us see to find the exit.
On the way we went along the shore we had to be careful because if we slipped we could end up falling and we had to deal with those rocks that were very sharp.
We rested a few times to breathe the fresh air and also for my mom to take pictures, which she took about a million, and then we kept walking until we finally saw the road to go down to the other beach where we could not swim because it looked like it was going to rain and my sister is very delicate with those things, so we walked quickly to where we had the car, but this time along the road and we went home.
This was the best adventure of the vacation because we had never done anything like this before, the views were beautiful and it was a great family outing.
I hope you guys enjoyed your summer vacation a lot too, and I think I may keep coming back to the community even though summer is over, because here where I live it's summer all the time 🤣
