It was a lazy morning after the busy weekend I had. The fresh air wafted through the house, and I truly enjoyed the moments before getting up, unhurried. No plans, no errands to run, the coffee brewed, and I made myself some oatmeal for breakfast.
Shall we go to the beach? I heard my husband's question. My eyes lit up, and I almost laughed because it is actually a funny question. I mean, how could I turn down an offer like that? 😁

When we arrived, after a 36-minute car ride, the day was already announcing that the coolness of the night was just a thing of the past. However, the sand we walked on was not yet scorching hot; it was perfect.
And the water?
Beautiful and transparent!

I was the first to get in the water, and when my husband joined me, I told him that I wouldn't even get out of the water for the entire time we were there! 😂
The fish I saw in the water around me had the same opinion, and I think they are still there swimming, but I had to get home in the meantime. And of course, I got out of the water as my fingertips became wrinkled from being in the water for such a long time. Then I went for a walk along the shore and met a seagull.

Hello, who are you? Ah, you are Mipiano, the one who had an encounter with Mrs Jellyfish last week. Yeah, she greets you, but you know, it is better if you don't touch her tentacles again. You are safe here with me.

So, I see you like this beach, right? I like it too, that is why I have chosen it for my place of living. I have my nest nearby and I came here to these rocks to enjoy moments of silence, you know, my children can be quite loud when they ask me to bring them fish for breakfast.

And I also wanted to preen my feathers a little bit. It is like when you people take a bath, or go to the hairdresser, or choose the clothes you are going to wear that day. So, now, if you don't mind... I am back to my feathers. Bye.

Since the bird was so well-mannered, I respected her wish to leave. However, before I left this rocky area, my curiosity made me walk to this interesting rocky formation. It depends on which angle you see the rocks; they make different shapes - do you see the head of a meerkat, or is it just me? 😂

Leaving the sea and the rocks, I entered the area of the sand dunes. The vegetation is typical Mediterranean: low shrubs and bushes, some pine trees, reeds, some succulents like agave, cacti, an occasional lone palm tree, and other small conifers.

There are paths between the shrubs where you can walk or ride a bike. All in all, I didn't spend a lot of time here.

I headed back, took a photo of this interesting bench, which probably hides some stories. Sea, sky, a kiss and you... The seagull didn't tell me a word about it, so countless possible stories can be created in the minds of those who read it.

Another cool detail was this green succulent shrub. Like in the middle of a desert, but full of life and little yellowish flowers.

Back to sea and the rocks! If you think it was not easy to walk on these rough rocks, you can check my special footwear for water. They make you walk on every rocky surface with safety! You may remember them from a post where they were already mentioned and their beautiful style was showcased. 😂

You can even walk on the moss, I promise, I didn't fall while getting close to the super-tiny snails. Magic footwear, I tell you. 😁

Gracias a ti 😇
Sometimes you need someone to look you in the eye, take your hands, and say, “Let's go to the beach!” Hahaha 😂
So the jellyfish stung you because you touched its tentacles, mystery solved, thank you, Mrs. Seagull, for giving us that information 🙏 It just got scared, keep preening yourself haha ❤️
I see a meerkat and a Velociraptor 😲
Haha, mystery solved as Mrs Seagull was talkative. :))
Oh, that indeed is a Velociraptor, I believe you, you are the pro in that. So, it seems this beach has more than just marine animals!!! 😲
Good afternoon @mipiano, there are offers you can't refuse. The photos are magnificent and the conversation with the seagull was more than interesting. I knew the jellyfish and I understand that the jellyfish told her about you. I never imagined that the sea could also be like a small neighborhood... I saw the head (I think) ... and a bone. 😲
Sea, sky, a kiss, and you... I've already created my own story. 😀
Thank you for this walk. A big hug.
Good evening @enraizar, indeed, a neighbourhood of different marine animals, birds, snails and also rocks that look like animals haha. The sea is rich in life 🌊 . I am also glad you made your story from the bench message. :))
Good night 👋💤
Good evening @mipiano. 🤗👋
Good afternoon 😊
😎👋
Those water shoes would have come in handy; I wouldn't have fallen last week, ha ha ha, you have no idea, I was covered in mud!
Seagulls are very talkative... if they don't want to steal your food. I love snails, and of course I saw the head! It came out of the water to breathe.
Who would turn down an offer like that? No one!
Then you also need one of these!! I know they look funny haha, but for rocks and pebbles, it is a salvation. When there is sand, I go barefoot, of course.
Exactly 😇
Are you walking on the sand????? It's burning my feet! I can't do it! I'm wearing flip-flops!
No, not on hot sand in midday, my feet would also burn haha but yes in the morning and later, close to the water, where the sand is wet. 😉
That's right! Then we'll do the same thing.😂
Nice to see that seagull talking a little about it's life 😄
Yes, it was talkative haha 😁😉
Thank you @jlinaresp 😇
Awesome 😎!
The place, or the seagull? :)
Everything! You took beautiful photos, and the beauty of the sea, and the story of the seagull. Your post in general is awesome!
☺️
This is so poetic, lol.
I love the pictures—how you captured not just the scenery, but also the little details—the fish, the seagull
Thank you 🌊
You are welcome @mipiano
This gave me instant beach day flashbacks, love those spontaneous trips!
I didn't plan it for today either, but in the end we went again 😁
