I'm glad to see old buildings preserved and kept in use. The pile of headstones is interesting. You mentioned a large memorial. Did they transfer the names from those markers to it before stacking them around the now-dead tree?

I assume so. The surrounding area will have changed a lot, especially with the railways and so they lost ground. I think the tree grew after the markers were stacked up. There is a disease that has been killing off ash trees.
