Okay, this was probably the most challenging shape yet for making a human figure, but I'm so happy with how it turned out. The original was this really angular, almost puzzle piece like bright green shape with a cool, jagged section in the middle. I stared at it for a while thinking it could be a crocodile but I must stick with making human figures for this set.
I used the blockiest part of the green shape as a stylized hat or beanie, which frames the face so perfectly. That "comb" section from the original shape became the unique front detail of the hat and that is a super direct and effective transformation I then added the warm brown hair, the light skin tone, and those big, curious eyes looking upwards. Even the little light green dots in the background add to the whimsical mood, almost like it's raining magical light
This piece really pushed me and my clean line art style. It proves that even the most abstract and awkward shapes can hide a human figure if you just look close enough and be patient. I love how the minimalist approach makes the expression and the unique hat really stand out. This challenge is so good for creative thinking

This is the reference shape that looks like a crocodile like I said previously what do you think? Why not give it a try reimagine it using your creativity as the limit and show it to us on the Draw A Day community
