Thinking, discussing; Staying awake

in Canada2 years ago

Legacy media, also known as mainstream media, is absolutely not where you should get your information on domestic or international affairs. Or anything thing else for that matter. At least not if you want truth and accuracy.

Here is a list of 8 sources to get informed, to get you thinking, discussing and to help stay awake.

It is not an exhaustive list but it’s a good place to start (FYI – not in any particular order).

The Corbett Report

The Corbett Report is an independent, listener-supported alternative news source. It operates on the principle of open source intelligence and provides podcasts, interviews, articles and videos about breaking news and important issues from 9/11 Truth and false flag terror to the Big Brother police state, eugenics, geopolitics, the central banking fraud and more.

Check out The Corbett Report for deep dives, solutions and overall good information on the world.

Geopolitics & Empire

The Geopolitics & Empire Podcast conducts interviews with prominent international experts on a wide-range of topics.

Past guests have included diplomats, government officials, whistleblowers, soldiers, spies, economists, academics, scientists, wealthy investors, dissidents, journalists, and musicians.

The broadcast seeks to gain insight from guests who come from the left, right, and beyond. It should go without saying that the host does not always agree with beliefs espoused by podcast invitees, but maintains an open mind, and believes it important to respectfully listen to a multitude of voices and let listeners come to their own conclusions.

I’m relatively new to Geopolitics & Empire and so far I really enjoy the conversations. Check it out!

George Gammon

This channel will help you build and protect wealth through investing, real estate and an extreme dose of the economic RED PILL.

I often seek out George Gammon when I want to understand why the economy seems to be broken.

Canadian Prepper

The purpose of this channel is to help more people get prepared for emergency situations.

Lately Canadian Prepper has started putting out more and more news-related videos and they’re worth watching.

CanadaPoli

A look at Canadian politics.

I only recently discovered CanadaPoli and I’m giving it a shot. Mostly because there aren’t a lot of Canada-focused conversations going on out there.

Jordan B Peterson

Dr. Jordan B Peterson is a professor and clinical psychologist. The videos are derived from two sources:

  1. His UToronto courses Maps of Meaning (which describes how values, including beliefs about good and evil, regulate emotion and motivation); and Personality & Its Transformations (which describes psychological theories from Eliade, Jung, Freud, Rogers, Gray, Luria, Sokolov, Vinogradova, Panksepp, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, and Solzhenitsyn as well as psychometric models such as the Big Five).

  2. His public lectures on topics of general psychological relevance, including the meaning of music, the significance of hero mythology, and the structure of the world as represented in religion.

I’m not particularly intelligent but sometimes I give Jordan B Peterson conversations / discussions a shot. Once in a while, I actually start thinking a little more.

Rebel News

Rebel News is one of the few media outlets that has the power, freedom, and reach to challenge the views presented in the mainstream media.

If anyone living in Canada doesn’t make an effort to check out Rebel News to hear the other side of the story, then that person - IMO - is not truly informed. Despite what Trudeau says, you should check it out.

The Dollar Vigilante

TDV is hosted by Jeff Berwick, a famous analyst, author and entrepreneur. TDV’s motto is “Surviving and Prospering During & After the Dollar Collapse” and Jeff Berwick considers himself a freedom fighter against mankind’s two biggest enemies: The State and Central Banks.

He’s an interesting dude. A former Canuck with an odd sense of humour. Check out The Dollar Vigilante for a laugh and to give you something else to chew on.

Conclusion

What I’ve learned since early 2020 is that you cannot count on mainstream media to provide you with non-bias, or even truthful information. And you certainly can’t believe that what they push out is anything other than government propaganda and woke bullshit.

It’s up to us to seek out alternative sources of news, analysis and discussion.

Question everything. Do your own research and think for yourself.
