Standing Idle

in Canada3 years ago

At the moment we have no solid plans and are sitting a bit idle. While waiting for the US border to open (so we can migrate south for the winter) we have been exploring the Canadian Maritime Provinces. We have been here for about three months now. It really is a beautiful area of Canada populated by even kinder people. But fingers crossed the border opens soon. We have been loving our time here but we aren't really prepared to spend another winter in Canada haha!

Hope you will be able to cross over the border soon.

Fingers crossed 🤞

Hi why isn’t possible cross the border with negative test?

Currently Americans can cross into Canada but not vice versa.
Canadians can cross the border via air but not via land. The decision to open land borders was delayed until the end of September. And if we did cross we would need to take our van so we cant fly.

They have been postponing it for over a year. Everytime it gets postponed for a month. What's ironic is that the situation in Canada is much more under control than what it is in the US.

I know! It's a bit irritating. But you are right, it is very ironic. But we're making the most of it and have discovered some beautiful places that we would never have visited if it wasn't for the situation we are in.
