I have been wondering why most people easily fail to reach their goals or potentials even after setting out well to achieve them. One thing that comes to mind here are determination, resilience and hardwork.
Even though we are all mortals in the hands of the creator, and thus we cannot order the direction of things, that is, we cannot literally change the direction of the wind, but we can adjust our sails to always reach our destination.
There are certain things in life that are beyond our control, and we cannot change them. Those are the wind which may include external factors or circumstances which we cannot influence. But inasmuch as we do not have control over the situation, there are however best things that a person can do to better his lot and that is, to adjust our approach a bit.
Adjusting our sails here implies that we need to change the approach adopted in tackling things and also persevere to overcome.
However, one have to make sure that one's method adopted is compatible with the situation. Otherwise, there is a chance that one will fail.
Sometimes we feel weak thinking we can not do it. Persistent as you clearly put it will help us to achieve greater things. Reaching our goals should be priority
