Today a female friend sent me a voice message asking what she should do when fearful thoughts come to her while she is travelling on her own.

My reply (slightly edited):
i remember 14 years ago when i first went to Mexico, one of the yoga teachers from the school i was going to to volunteer at, introduced me to The Intenders of the Highest Good. They have a "Code" which i read to myself, like affirmations, every day for a long time. One of them, Intent number 4 came to mind when you asked your question, part of which says:
"I am Guided, Guarded, Protected and lined up with the Highest Good at all times".

Some time later i went to an Intenders meeting and met Tony Burroughs, the founder of The Intenders, and some time later, with his permission i recorded myself reading one of his books, The ReUnion, A Parable for Peace.
So, when thoughts come to mind which are fearful, as opposed to uplifting, do your best to dismiss the thoughts and replace them with a mantra, which could be part of intent no. 4:
I am guided, Guarded, Protected at all times.
You could perhaps repeat this a few times then continue with This Moment Matters (from The Presence Process), while connecting your breath & keeping aware of each in and out breath as you repeat it.

Krishna Krishna Hare Hare,
Hare Ram Hare Ram,
Ram Ram Hare Hare,.
or
Sat Nam,
or whatever mantra you choose.
Just dismiss the thoughts (as repeatedly thinking can make the thoughts more likely to manifest) and replace them with your chosen mantra while keeping aware of your breath.
That being said, there's an old Arabic saying:
"Trust in God, but tie up the camel".

I push them out of my head. I do a lot of solo camping on my motorcycle and every so often thoughts enter your mind while your camping alone in the middle of the wilderness, and I just push them away. Fear is our imagination running away with itself. it's imagined. I just push the thought aside and replace it with better thoughts, happy thoughts. Still, don't be fearless, fear is also very important because it lets us know that we're not invincible and it's important to pay attention to our surroundings.
It's not possible not to feel fear i don't think. It is a universal human feeling, which as you effectively say, has it's uses. What we are not taught however (due to corrupt brainwashing education systems controlled by #thepowersthatshouldntbe - #matrix8fixesthis) is that the way to harness the energy of fear (and any feeling) is to fully feel it without condition (but not wait for the tiger to atack :-)
Traveling alone can be a drag 🙂, if you are in India just be aware of wild places and street dogs. Otherwise there is nothing much to worry tourists are welcome here 😅.
Yeah i agree. i spent about a year in India with no issues. Yet anywhere we go there are possibilities of violence due to #corruption of #thepowersthatshouldntbe using #education to brainwash humanity to be #slaves of the system.
#Matrix8fixes this though (when sufficient people conscious enough to see it's potential take part).

Wonderful advice. You have cover both aspects; winning over the fear in mental level and winning over the physical offender (if any) with the pepper spray or stun gun!
However, in a place where overall safety is severely compromised, sometimes these "mantra" may not be of much help. The best option is not be travel alone I guess :)
