Not The Plan ๐
The whole family getting the flu was not the plan but when you have young children they bring all kinds of germs back from school.
Just the way it is, you try your best to avoid and plan but every now and then you get hit by something.
This has been a particularly rough flu, i would say much worst than Covid in my opinion i been barely able to move about or stay awake.
Whenever i try to focus on anything i would get motion sickness.
Me and the wife have just been struggling trying to try and keep everyone watered and fed before we collapsed with exhaustion due to lack of energy.
We are all on the road to recovery now but it was a tough few days and we are all still not 100 % but better than we was.
We are starting to see many seedlings taking place and growing.
I am looking forward to being well enough to get out into the garden, as it is, the weather hasn't been the best anyways.
The chicken is doing well laying an egg every day and loving life, as soon as i am able she will have a bigger coop and some friends this month.
The quails have not laid yet so should be any day in the next week or so i am expecting they are calming down and settling in a bit more.
Quails are pretty chilled birds as long as you don't touch them or go near them. ๐คฃ
Anyway that is going to be it from me today still feeling rough, just wanted to update about being Alive and yes although we been sick we are still thriving.
Hoping to get back to normality soon.
Managed to get some curation done for Alive And Thriving and working to try and get my basic online tasks done as much as possible.

I am very glad that in spite of the flu you are taking care of your animals and that you are thinking of finding a companion for your hen, I also have hens at the moment I have about 38 between hens and roosters, I also have two rabbits, one of these days I will upload some pictures of them.

I remember when I was little,I was infected with a flu.
When I got home I spread it to everyone at home. It was horrible but thank God for recovery.
Such flu is always difficult to handle.

Hey man. Sorry to hear you haven't been well. I have heard from a few people innthe last couple of weeks that the flu going around has hitnthem harder than covid. I think it is all those months we have been hiding away that have weakened our immunity and made us more susceptible than normal.

I think you are completely right cause of the way we was all locked up it has not done us any good for our immunity.
Just building our immunity back up the best we can for now it has been a real drag this flu just takes your energy completely, still struggling today.

Hi @benthomaswwd I am very much glad to hear that you and your family are recovering from the flu gradually . It could have come from anywhere but I understand the fact that children go to school, mix up with other children and might have a great chance of contracting any kind of infection . However , it's important for us to keep maintaining all the precautionary measures to reduce the risk of the flu attack.
