More specifics are needed though. How young is this young person? Someone who has already graduated? Or is still a small child?
Let's assume he/she is a graduate, job choices will be kinda focused on their area of specialty mostly.
Regardless, the most important skill in my opinion is networking. Birds of a feather flock together. Drop those that are toxic and and gather only likeminded positive people around you. No matter your job choice, it will propel you to greater heights.
Interpersonal skills take in my opinion a very important place in todays society. In a couple of years technology will be very different from today but you will still need these interpersonal skills to work with other people :-)
