As a knitter I concur on the virtues of wool. I knit wool socks year round. Breathable and they promote healthy skin. Quality wool is not itchy.

It's worth the effort. It's so easy to complain and not do anything, I prefer to do something and NOT complain. :-)
I'm a big fan of wool. I'd be happy to send some HIVE or HBD for a new pair of wool sock... just name your price. @fiberfrau
My yarn is all packed up for a move, but will keep it in mind.
