Nine days to go.. oh boy! The year is indeed coming to an end soon. Before we know it, we'd be welcoming the new year π From now till year end, I'm praying for better days. πβ€οΈπ‘ I have no expectations at this time. Instead, I'll just take things as they come. π
Daily steps continue on no matter my mood. Yes, I'm still down and out for losing one of my OG well-loved kitties, Xin. It still feels unreal, but I've come to realize she's no longer coming home. π #sadlife
I will always remember her as this tiny kitten looking up to me as I cleaned their litter box outside. Mom was still around then. I'd play with her nightly and it seemed she chose me to be her human from such a young stage. π Xin is greatly missed, together with all the beloved kitties we have lost too over the years. π How I wish I live in an area where I can be surrounded more by these kitties than by other humans. I find the latter more destructive and inhuman than these animals. #harshtruth

Always be thankful. That's something I remind myself daily. There are days when that gets difficult. Still I persist in being grateful for my blessings. Challenges will always be part of life's journey, so we might as well learn from them. I try to have less expectations these days, that way I'd be less disappointed esp. with other folks. π They truly bring me more stress than all the kitties combined.
Countdown has begun! Can't wait for the month to end soonest. Then it's all about waiting for the stressful season to be over. π I will focus more on my short term projects around the flat. That's how I keep busy these days. It's good that I do get to move forward little by little each day. I know in time these small efforts will add up. One task at a time... one day at a time... π
Time to share the weekly LL coop link promotions earnings. Got three cents less this past week. That still gets me closer to my goal of reaching $9 on LL. It's getting closer to another payout.
I intentionally chose FriYAY to be my ALIVE tokens staking day. That way it coincides with the weekly earnings on LL. I just think they look good together in a report. I staked another 100 ALIVE tokens, bringing my stakes to 49.3K (23K delegated). Target is to reach 75K ALIVE power.

Yes, my heart breaks that I was not able to protect her. Xin did not deserve what happened to her. I've cared for her for over four years, so it hurts like hell. πβ€οΈπ‘ I pray for justice as I do suspect foul play.
