Hello everyone, I welcome you once again to my blog. It is really hard for millions of people in Nigeria now than before. I know many of you have heard about the redesign of naira in Nigeria. When it started, we thought it will be like other years when naira was changed. But to our surprise, up till now many people have not touched the new one let alone buying things with it.
And Worst now is that the old naira is becoming useless as many have refused to collect it. Now we are buying naira costly as day pass by. Last week, we bought 10k at 12k but today, it is 10k for 13k. And there is fear how next week will be because there will be public holiday.
Fuel scarcity is another torn on our flesh. Many filling station has closed because they don't want to collect old naira. Many bus divers have packed and the ones driving, if you don't have new naira note, they will not carry you. Some drivers are moving with POS machine. See below what is happening in different filling station now

I can't imagine what i saw this morning as i want to go to the market. Ifa big junction that is always busy but today, i stood for 20 minutes before we dragg a bus that came around. As we are dragging, the driver said, no new money, no enter my bus. Some stepped down.
This challenge has affected everyone in different places and in different ways. We hope for a better Nigeria. I pray for others not just me and my family. We believe that it will better soon.

It is such a terrible situation, on Wednesday I and my family went to bed with empty stomach just because sellers refuse to collect the old note which I even bought with extra charges. God will help us scale through.

It has been such a terrible experience. Yesterday, I had to manage without lunch because the food vendor is not collecting old 500 notes and that was all I got. Had to return office and endure the hunger till I got home in the evening.
The experience has been terrible. We hope something is done about this soonest!
