Warm greetings, everyone! How are you doing this beautiful Thursday? I hope you're doing so good. It's a privilege to be awesome, alive and thriving. Welcome to the 4th day of December and to my blog.
It's amazing how fast the year has gone and soon to end in a couple of weeks. Reflecting on how I started the year with so much expectations that l will end the it stronger(though I'm hopeful and optimistic of an amazing year end), and hope that my heart's desires will come to fruition. Weeks in, weeks out, I set goals, some I crushed, some, I did not, while some, I crushed greater percentage of it. Grateful for all!
It looked as if everything was going so well, as I'd already planned earlier and envisaged what it'll look like, judging by the beginning of the last quarter of the year. But the way this month of December started wasn't smething I'm very happy about. First, it was 3 days of power failure that disrupted my plans and activities, due to road construction going on in my locality.
Secondly, my phone's external memory got corrupted and inaccessible, which made me lost every file and documents stored in it. Thirdly and most weakening, I got an emergency message about my mum's health, all these happening in succession got a better part of me that I missed my new week goal's post and almost missed 1st of the new month HPU.
Sometimes, life doesn't actually give us what we planned for or deserved. it gives us the opposite. Leaving one to wonder if life is truly fair. On a second thought, I realized that sometimes, somethings happen around us not because of how prepared/unprepared we are or how we planned or didn't plan them, but to teach us patience…to be patient with ourselves, patient with others, patient with things and life generally.
Having reflected on these, I'm most thankful and grateful for the gift of life, knowing with full assurance that a bad day does not mean it's a bad week, month or year. Again, nothing stays forever, even unpleasant situations, all happen for a reason and lesson to teach. I'm happy, thankful and grateful to have learned that with gratitude.
So friends, it's #thankfulthursday, there's always something to be thankful for when we look closely.
Thanks dearly for stopping by! Have an amazing Thursday. 💖

Life is not fair but it is still good.
One important lesson learnt from your post is that we should be thankful regardless of the challenges that come our way.
