Nostr is just a relay protocol where people are building many different Dapps on it, but mostly so far it is just short form content Dapps like on Twitter.
Alby is a lightening wallet and it uses the protocol for people to send payments (sats) to each other and login to some Dapps, so does work similar to Hive Keychain yes.
