We lost power for a little over 24 hours last fall and started the process of trying out our new generator. Only after reading the manual did we learn to use non-synthetic oil to break the generator in. All gas stations in my area had been sold out. As it was mild we sat it out doing analog things yet we are now prepared for the next time.
