When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love. And the one thing that life requires of us all is to live it. Never be embarrassed by your ability to be alive.
Take every breath as an event. There's not much point to being alive if you don't do what you can to make life better for someone else. Never always think of yourself alone but rather try and help people by raising them up if possible. When you know who you truly are, there is an abiding alive sense of peace.
You could call it joy because that's what joy is, vibrantly alive peace. It is the joy of knowing yourself as the very life essence before life takes on form. That is the joy of being who you truly are.
